Default C4 Racing Dashboard/Gauges for sale....

Completly removable C4 racing dashboard/gauges. Literally brand new with all Autometer Phantom II gauges; Speedometer w/sending unit, Tachometer, Direct reading oil pressure with separate oil pressure warning light set at 20 PSI, Direct reading water temperature with separate water temp warning light set at 240 deg., and voltmeter. The dash is made from rigid 10 gauge aluminum that was professionally bent and cut with a water jet for accurate sizing and clean smooth edges. It was then polished and has a black decal added on top to reduce glare. The basic wiring design allows for a single power wire for every item. This runs to a fuse block and then through the fused Moroso switch panel; allows everything to be double fused. This dashboard was for my C4 race car which was never tracked. The gauges and wiring have only a few minutes of run time on them!

Best offer over $500! (Gauges alone cost nearly $600 ).

How big is the Tach and Speedometer? Is it really easy to glance down at and see since they are white on white? I am really interested in this as I am doing an LS-7 650hp conversion to make a Cannonball Run car and want to do away with the digital gauges. Do you have any close ups of the center switch panel and what is all on the switch panel? Will this dash fit into a 87 Vette? Those gauges will work with an LS-7 right? Any pics of it while it was in the car? Are these the Phantom 2 "Full Sweep Electric" gauges for the smaller ones and then the "In Dash Tachs and Speedos" 5" gauges for the Tach/Speedometer? What is the max reading on the oil pressure and coolant gauges? I don't know all about Autometer gauges so sorry for all the questions. Thanks. -Eric

Anybody know if something like this would work with an LS-X type motor?

I'll buy it if you give me a exact price. I think advertising it at "best offer over $500.00" is a violation of the forum rules. You need to list a exact price you'll accept.

You'd need the appropriate sending units installed, but it should.

I like it! If it doesn't sell, drop me a PM. Not interested in bidding.

Aardwolf, that's exactly my point here. The rules are in place so that doesn't happen.

BlackRocket, can you post a price please?

Apologizing for not having a "fixed" price. First PM offer of $600 + shipping gets it!

Again, everything is basically new including the wiring. I have over $1,000 into everything.

Thanks!

Will this dash for sure work in an 87 Vette? Also I am not really interested in the speedometer because I am going to need one that goes higher than 160mph. Would you be willing to exclude the speedometer from the sale and adjust the price slightly? If not thats fine too, I eventually would be able to find someone that would want to buy the speedometer probably.

Well I am going to have to pass on the dash. Thanks for answering my questions and it looks like a very nice dash. One last question just because I am curious. The warning lights you have about the coolant temp and oil pressure look kinda cool. Do you remeber where you got them or what the brand is? Once again nice dash and thanks for your help.

I am going to have to pass also. Giterdun and I are father/son. We were considering this for his '87 but decided he wants a bigger tach and a speedometer that goes to 300 mph (his mother actually wants that since she wants him to go that fast in his car). Looks like a very nice piece and I don't think you'll have trouble selling it. Sorry, I tried to get on line this morning to pass but kept getting "database error." Good luck with the sale.
