Just got back from Homestead w NASA

over 2 days she devoured 4 quarts of oil

We didnt find any oil under the car or on the back or engine so no idea where all the oil went

Anyways I am upgrading the sump soon, its a 2007 Z

Is there a baffled oil pan for the car to help prevent oil starvation ?

That drinks more oil than the Renault R16 I had as a teenager; but the C6 Z06 is a dry sump, you shouldn't have oil starvation issues.

that's too much! I have an '06 w/ a tune and run HMS all the time (will be there Sat Jan 3 w/ Hooked on Driving) and never use that much. Just got back from the Daytone HPDE and used 3/4 quart for 3 days. we were running sustained speeds of 160-165. make sure you are using Mobil 1 15w-50.

1/2 to 3/4 quarts per track day (4x25 sessions) for my '07... no oil in my intake.

A guy with us at wsir last week did not check oil before the even but half way through. he put in 5qts!!! My C5Z OTOH used almost no oil driving to the track running all day and driving home. So what's up with the C6Z?

my 06' did not use a drop of oil in the 5 events I did in 06'.
I only did 1 event this year and is did use about a 1/2 liter.
