Keep in mind that Fehan is a program manager. His budget can be cut by those GM folks who are higher up on the food chain. Fehan has done a great job of keeping his budget intact but any of us that work for a large company know that we can have our budgets killed by the folks in the big offices.
Also keep in mind that Pratt and Miller is a GM supplier. If GM goes bankrupt (which is still a possiblity) Gary Pratt might not get paid. One of the consequences of the GM situation is that the suppliers could be left holding an empty bag. Pratt and Miller is probably a Tier 1 supplier which will be nice should the day of reckoning arrive. At least he will get most of what GM owes him.
