Those Top Gear blokes are such morons. The only reason they gave us an accurate test result is someone decided they had be factual, not entertaining.

The Caddilac driver can't even keep the car straight under hard accelleration.

Well, maybe they've finally seen the light

Still can't figure out why they though earlier Corvette had an oversteer problem.
I guess they're not used to car's with torque

Heh. The reason is that they are all normal guys that review cars. They drive lots of them, and some exotic ones, but they are not race drivers. The driver of the caddy in particular is James May, and makes a virtue of not being a gearhead. Not a bad thing to have on the show, if you want to appeal to a broad audience.

Their pokes at the American car industry in general are pretty funny, considering that they poke their own just about as hard.

Must have been nice to cycle through run after run in seeming
quick succession there at Speed Week last August.

Waits between runs at World of Speed in Sept '06 were quite a bit
longer.

176 for the ZR1 versus 163 for the CTS-V in a standing mile on salt
with drivers of significantly different skill? My vote is that this
represents quite an achievement for the 30% heavier Cadillac with
its much greater Cd.

Salt is a lot different than pavement. The heavier weight of the Caddy probably helped it gain traction.

I like these guys. I find them entertaining and I take what they say with a grain of salt.

Your joking right? On the off chance that your serious...Top Gear is an entertainment show revolving around cars. No one actually told them they had to be factual, and even if they did it wouldnt stop them from being funny. James May drove the caddy off the road on purpose. Hes captain slow! Hes not allowed to drive good! And his ramblings on about how the n-ring tuning ruined the car are sarcastic and actually meant to showcase the car in a positive light btw, just in case you took that seriously.

Buttttttttttt I have a feeling you were joking, and if you were I apologize and do feel like an ***.

Thanks for the links, that was very entertaining!

Too bad the Challenger wasn't a 6 speed.

And yeah, those guys are a bit harsh, but it was funny and entertaining. It would be nice if we had a similar american car show.

How many of you guys saw "The Worlds Fastest Indian"? For those who haven't a guy from New Zealand makes the pilgrimage to the salt flats. I need to get there some day!

Best movie to show someone who doesn't get why we do what we do.

If you get the DVD, it has footage of the real Burt Munroe
