Default 07" Z-06 Seat bracket issue

I am in the process of installing Corbeau seats in my car. Drivers side no problem utilizing Corbeau factory sliding seat bracket. Passenger side has what I believe is the On Star Box??? mounted under seat. Corbeau seat bracket will not clear the box. My question is can this box be move, or can it be removed. On Star is not a used item, especially on track days. Would like to remove box when Corbeau seats are install. Has anyone had this problem and how was it rectify?

Thanks,

That is the yaw rate sensor. The Hardbar seat rails work with that sensor.

Thanks for the input, sounds to me removal is out of the question. Is there a web site for Hardbar seat mounts??

Yes:

http://hardbarusa.com/hardbar/produc...products_id=46
or non anodized
http://hardbarusa.com/hardbar/produc...products_id=45

The Hardbar seat rails are the best anyway, and are super popular. In stock for immediate delivery.

I thought that was the on-star module.

Here is how to move it:

I thought the yaw sensor was inside the center console

Great article, super data and a great job. If the yaw sensor is not it the box, could the box be removed if you were not using the On Star system. Thinking about trmoving the box when I install race seats and replacing when re install factory seats. Comment???

Thanks,
Dave

Car won't start if you remove that box. You must leave J4 connected.

Here's how to jumper the J4 connector so you can remove the box (not sure if it works)
