Default Some cool new C4 products (new products)

AC compressor delete. I'm seeing more and more C4s become track only toys!!! This gets rid of the mess of belt routing. Less weight and easier to work on the car are the advantages of not running a AC compressor
88-96 (84-87 coming soon)
$149.00

This bracket is to get rid of the hated air pump system on the car. Way easier to work on the car and less weight are once again the pros to this system.

$149.00

A simple way to increase the CFM capacity of your Mass Air Flow sensor, this easy bolt-on outflows a stock MAF by 200CFM. Billet aluminum anodized Cool Grey, replaces the factory ends reusing the stock bolts and "O"-rings. Requires minor modification to plastic sensor housing

$80.00

All of these parts are in stock and ready for shipping!!!

PS I'm locking myself in my office until I post these on our website.

Randy -

Perfect timing! I was just trying to figure out a way to make the A.C. delete job the previous owner did look more "professional".

You'll be hearing from me soon!

Randy,

How "minor" are the modifications to the stock MAF housing?

You have to cut the plastic supports. A couple minutes with a dremal tool or die grinder.

I love the A/c delete Randy. As soon as I get back home I'll be ordering one. Did you guys go in with Myron's guys on that one? (TPIS?)

Have you thought of making an alternator bracket/tensioner? You could have DRM stamped on it then. Something like this (re-used the A/C compressor brace):

Nope, I was at their shop the other night. I saw one on a engine. So of course, being a smart ***, asked about it. So here I am selling them now!!!

TPIS builds some pretty nice stuff.

It is made from a composite plastic. Tested to 7000 RPM.

Wouldn't the belt already be tensioned on the other side of the engine??? Or were you thinking of us building a new bracket for just the AC to bolt on to???

No, there's no tensioner, I sold it. No A/C or air pulleys. I tension the belt by using a bar on the side of the alternator then tightening the top brace. The shorter belt was only $15 compared to $40 for the full length serp. I sold the A/C compressor and found the brace from it was nearly an exact fit for removing the air pump. Only trouble is this changes to standard rotation on the water pump. I ran it that way and temps really didn't seem higher. Maybe just a few degrees. I traded pumps for the correct rotation though just in case, since I'll be running higher RPM this year.

Send me a PM if you'd like, I don't want to hijack.

My thread on it in C4 tech:

Randy,
Can you get a female connector like the one on the MAF?
I want to build a "MAF harness extension" so I don't have to cut into my harness when I relocate it under the headlight bucket for my blower install.

Kinda like this, but with the MAF before the blow-off return

We have three huge boxes of wiring harness. They are in a huge tangled mess. You can come dig anytime. I would call a recycler first, like Shepvette or others first.
