Default Ferrari F60 unveiled

Check out the new F1 Ferrari F60
The car looks great! The rear wing is way too small. My favorite photo is the one taken from above the car.
Can't wait for the first race.

I really like how the new aero rules have simplified and 'slimmed down' the body shape, but that rear wing does look stupid from the head-on shots - it should be much wider to look proportional to the rest of the chassis.

Kinda silly looking. Both wings are goofy and the plan form is not very appealing but I like the nose and the front wing mount.

I like how they're using the rear view mirrors to get around the no barge board rules.

Unfortunately the wings are a rules thing.

Why not make the use single plane wings, and just mount them higher?

Rear wing

Everything else

I like the wheels painted to look like spokes, reminds me of Pep Boys hubcaps... really really expensive hubcaps.

Wing = hideous.

Couldn't they have made them wider and just reduced the max amount of wing angle/travel and get the same result?

Where can I find an explanation of the controls on the steering wheel?

Thanks

That looks great. I was at the Ferrari factory and Mugello for the Ferrari world finals last month. What a great experience that was.

Looks pretty interesting.

Wonder how it performs compared to previous Ferrari F1s.

That rear spoiler looks like it could create some serious downforce but also a lot of drag.

Any speculation about the HP of the new motor?

Looks great! I am a big fan of Kimi anyway and I hope he kicks some serious butt with the new car. The narrow rear wing is supposed to have less of a wake behind it so that the car behind is not as affected. This is supposed to make passing easier. I listened to the powerplant engineer video and he said that the rev limit is "only" 18K RPM so that it can last the mandated 3 races. In addition it has the KERS (kinetic energy recovery system) that apparently is engaged with a button when you exit a corner. That must take some practice learning how to use that! Now if Ferrari can learn how to properly refuel the car during pit stops, they might have a chance .

Isn't that why nitrous is banned from most road racing??

Very few will allow it.
Though some, Open Road Racing in particular allow it, as does One Lap

They can now trim the front wing from the cockpit.
