Here is some video from the ALMS Winter test at Sebring.
It was posted by "Racer X" . I don't know who that is but it is about 11 minutes long and pretty good.

We were there and got down to a 2:03.5 which was about 1.5 seconds off the fastest time of the 3 day test. We were on last year Dunlop compound which is behind what the BMW team now has.
I ran almost 8 hours of testing in two days during 4 two hour sessions. I only got out of the car between two hour sessions.
We didn't have our proper 1st gear for the hairpin but we will for the race.
Thanks
Lou G

you can also go to
http://blip.tv/ and search for Sebring ALMS winter testing and I found it there also. But it works on my IBM PC and my Apple, so I am not sure what is wrong.

That was some great footage
Lou and the gang... hope all the testing was productive and you can get the results you shoot for.
Good luck!
( Also, hope the application for LeMans goes thru so I can see you guys run @ Mid-Ohio )

Cool videos. The BMW certainly has a lot of driver position set-back. That Ford GT is really low. I've seen photos of it before but that looks really low.

Riley will help at Le Mans if we get accepted. they are also doing some chassis changes, that will be passed on to us. But we will have to implement them.
Unfortunately the nature of racing a Corvette means that we will do most everything ourself. Porsche on the other hand does it all for their teams.
The Vici Porsche team got Michelin tires for 09. I asked them how, and they said, "Porsche made the call".
So I asked them if they could get Porsche to make the call for me too, since GM (Corvette Racing) won't.

Lou, word on the street is the Dunlop guys are the Euro engineers and not the US folks. I've also heard that the new Dunlop has equivalent or better grip than the Michelin but just a much shorter period where M carries it throughout a stint or more. There is hope anyway.

Those are some great vids. The interesting thing is they were shot from the spectator area. It just proves you don't need all the special passes to get some great stuff.
