Bay Bottom Crawl / Serpentine....Advice?

I'm heading to Key West this weekend to run the Serpentine. From what I understand, it's the reverse course of the Bay Bottom Crawl. I've watched some YouTube videos and you can definitely write a car off there.

Any advice for a first timer of this event?

I'm LOVING the high speeds, the Z06 should kick azz in that department, but there is ZERO runoff.
