Default **New CSR Compound from Cobalt Brakes**

Hi guys,

Some of you may have already noticed that your GTS compound has been upgraded to a new CSR version late in 2008. Don't worry this is going to be an upgrade from the pads that you have been using and love!

The new Club Sport R (CSR)
...compound will provide an improved “Track Worthy” replacement. Some improvement include: better initial bite, higher overall torque and improved disc wear. The CSR compound is intend for the HPDE, autocross and time-trials customer looking for a track-day solution. While the CSR is “streetable” it is not intend to replace the OEM street pads for daily driving.

Compound Characteristics
Temperature Range: 50-1000°F (10-538°C)
Intial Bite/Attack: Strong
Torque Level & Ramp Rate: Medium + Medium Ramp
Modulation: Excellent
Release: Excellent
Consistency (across temp. range): Excellent
Consistency (throughout pad depth): Excellent
Pad Wear & Finish: Excellent
Disc Wear & Finish: Excellent

As always we will have them for OE C5/6 calipers, C6Z06 in the new one piece fitment, as well as popular aftermarket calipers such as StopTech and Brembo!
