Default Cheapest place to buy Motul 600 brake fluid

Where is the cheapest place to purchase this stuff? Anyone here use a special vendor in the new york area that stocks it? I usually buy it at Carbotech but 22$ a small bottle is too much....
thanks.

I have been using Motul for 8+ years and for the price it works very well. It has a very high "wet" boiling point which is important as brake fluid is hdyroscopic (meaning it absorbs water). I have never boiled my fluid and I have run some of the most extreme race pads.

Some motorcycle shops around me have it for $12 a bottle...which is a bargain.

Motul 600 is a bit better than ATE blue (IMO). It has
a higher boiling point.

Let me commend shopping.google.com. Enter "Motul RBF"
in the search box and sort by "Price: low to high".

I'm showing $11.99 a bottle from corollasport.com.

And speedsupplies.com has RBF660 for $7.16. That's a
DOT5.1 fluid - I don't know how suitable or desirable that is as a DOT4
replacement. (Update: false! The RBF660 there is $25 a bottle)

I just got some from corollasport.com for $11.99 per bottle. It does come in a smaller bottle like a 1/2 liter so you need a least a couple bottles.

There is what I beleive to be a new fluid on the market called
ProSpeed GS610. It has similar price and specs to the Motul - it has a
slightly higher dry BP. I used GS610 last time and didn't die

I can't find any at that price though.

Not anymore. GS610 was AWESOME. We sold tons of it, but Prospeed went out of business. They did however sell the rights for the fluid to Wilwood. You can get the exact same formula in the Wilwood 600 fluid.

Should retail for $18.95

Finding Motul for under $15/bottle is a good find. They raised prices last year and this year, so pick them up while you can. I suspect that when those companies need to replenish stock and find out wholesale is $5 more a bottle, prices will go up

Last time I needed some I bought a case from Pegasus Auto Racing (www.pegasusautoracing.com).

http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/pro...?Product=MT600

I'm sure one of the CF vendors can meet or beat that, though!

UPR is good people...

I got that price on some Motul and a sweet closeout deal on a Sparco helmet last year, including free shipping (>$100) over here to the east coast. Also got great service from their customer support regarding helmet specs & fitment.

BTW, in case anyone needs one... it looks like UPR still has that half price ($399) deal on the full-face SA2005 Sparco helmet w/factory-installed HANS clips.

Pardon my ignorance. What are HANS clips?

HANS clips are the mounting anchors & hardware installed into a helmet to accommodate a HANS (Head And Neck Support) device. Having anchors installed professionally on a helmet can cost $75-100, including parts. So that makes the Sparco SPY-05 helmet that includes them -all for $399- a real deal.

you'll see the anchors on the side of the helmet shown on the HANS site below :
http://hansdevice.com/
