[Video] Road Atlanta my first overall win!!!! I would like to thank Forza 2..
Actually it did help quite a bit since I never ran RA before, at least I wasn't wondering where the track went.
I would like to thank Greg @ Vector Motorsports, Spectator-Racing.com, Mitch @ CMP Fab, Hawk, Hoosier, Richard @ Leading Edge Gary @ Hardbar USA, Raft, Pfadt, of course Chris and Jessica for letting us crash at their house, Scaryfast for letting me borrow his trailer and to Tony and Ed for allowing me to run in ST-1 with my ST-2 car Nice meeting you guys.
Our weekend in a nut shell I drove down 14 hours made the mistake of driving over the top of a mountain towing my car, left 50 and sunny in Michigan for 40s and rain in Atlanta having never been to the track before qualified 5th overall and 1st in class on Sat, ended up 3rd over all and 1st in ST-1, I also ran the first TT session with Katrina (my old street car) and finished 3rd in TTA ( should have gone back out but after racing, TTing and riding with EM in HPDE2 I was just too tired to take the risk in the rain). On Sunday I qualified 2nd overall and got the over all win, I wanted to run conservative but once I got out front I didn't want to give it up. I really believe being a extremely courteous racer all weekend really help me get that win (I had zero issues with traffic & was never challenged for the spot once I got up front).
The day ended with a half dry line so Greg and I put on Scaryfast's old R6s for one shot at the TT title. Greg went out first and ran two hot laps and then came in to give me a shot, I was able to get 1 semi hot lap in before they ended the session 7 minutes early but it was good enough for a second in TTA and a second overall in TT.
Overall a nice weekend, the car is feeling much better do to a lot of hard work but we still have a long ways to go.
Here's the video of Sunday's race

BTW I actually told Scott that I wouldn't challange for corner #1, it was his.

Congratulations and definitely the most consistent car and driver on the track for the entire weekend. You looked outstanding and look forward to seeing the car on the dry track in the future. Good luck the rest of the season----Tony

Nice job, Ken!
I'm mostly glad you survived the TT session on those tires, they already had about 15 heat cycles on them and sat in the trailer all winter... Not the best way to take care of them.

Hey Ken, nice job this weekend on a wet track. You were just one weekend away from good track conditions. This weekend at the SCCA National Race, it looks like 70's and plenty of sunshine.
David Pintaric will be down to run in T1 class along with Jerry Onks. You guys could have a great race.
Don't forget that Tony's still wants his Hawk Bucks, and I would like two Hoosier tires.
Hope to see you at the ARRC in the fall.

Great Video! Never done much in the rain but I can certainly see that the 'friction circle' is very intolerant of much throttle uphill in a turn! I think I can take some good pointers from your video for my next rain event.
