Default Bilstein Sport Shock Question

I am considering buying a used set of Bilstein Sports. Is there a way to tell if the shock is still good? The shocks are off the car.

Well, the first, most obvious thing is to see if they are leaking, then see if they all have significant pressure when you compress them. Look at the shafts, see if they have wear or blue marks on the shafts, especially on the rears due to improper mounting.

Outside of putting them on a dyno, (which will cost you more than a new set from DRM) you can't tell much more.

You could budget the $65/shock rebuild at Bilstein in "just in case."
