Default Finally Finished Winter Mods!

It's been a 3 month project, but we finally finished all of the mods that we planned for this winter. The laundry list included:

Finish roll cage, install AMB transponder, kill switch, replace rear window, brake ducts, corner weight and alignment.

Along the way we added LG coil-overs, removeable steering wheel, cool shirt system, duct fans, a custom CAI, and a bunch of other stuff I can't even remember.

Special thanks to Russ Nyberg and Calvin Lofton of Racetech Motorsports, in Portland for doing a fantastic job with the cage, the custom fabrication and all the electrical work!

I hope I can drive it to the same standards that you built it!!

That's some serious modding - looks good.

Has it been established that using those brake fans is more effective
than plain old open ducting?

I dont see a diagnal brace inside of the main hoop..........I think that is one of the design requirements for most sanctioning bodies.

looks good.........

VERY cool looking. Love the look of the green cage through the back lexan. Looks like a nice set up. Also like the ram air induction system you set up.

Also
Be sure your main components have Plates added at the frame connections, its hard to tell by the pictures, but you cannot weld directly to the frame in most sanctioning bodies.

Does look good

Well, to answer a few questions. SCCA GCR states that if there is a diagonal in the rear supports diagonal is not needed in main hoop which was verified with tech. We have an "X". It is in the 2009 GCR. As for frame issue car has steel frame. Rule requires all cage mounting points to be attached to Steel frame. Only Unibody cars are allowed to weld to steel plates.
