Default Question: Mix MPSC & Hoosier R6 ???

Thinking about putting MPSC's(285x35x18) on the front and running with my R6's(325x30x19) on the rear. This is for track only

Has anyone done this??

Do you think they are compatible??

very very different rubber compounds. May not be a good idea.

Some guys have tried Rs and As combos and found that did not work either.

MPSCs are the pilot sport cup tire right? If so, I would think that mixing a 100 treadwear front tire with a 30 treadwear rear tire would generate a lot of understeer.

Thanks guys, I have decided this is a NO GO.

It was explained that different tires reaching different operating temps at different times is a BAD IDEA
