I am signed up. They are a good group to run with. You can't be much slower than me, but I still have a blast. I drove my car home from work today in 2nd and 3rd gear, 4k to 5500 rpms for 15 mins to see if my newly installed oil cooler was working. Oil temps never got above 260* so it looks promising. Look me up - I will be in the red Z06, #24. See you there.

The mix of cars is pretty good I saw that ZR1 as well, should be good to watch.

I put a oil cooler in my car also, during the AV event there in Feb my oil temps were getting 280 to 290, hopefully now they stay sub 250.

Hey, Johnny. I'll be there on the 2nd. Probably park in the same area as last year. See you this Thursday. Did the DVD I sent you work alright? If not, I can do another one and bring it with me. Look forward to seeing the new engine.

That was terrible. Only got about 2 semi decent laps.

Have to agree with you. I ran the first session for the intermediate group and didn't push the car and still had some slippage side to side with T/C and A/H on. Waited around for a while after the run and than left as it didn't look like things were going to change. Have dropped left sides off at Oak Tree several times when it was wet and fish tailed in turn 4 (comp mode).

Sorry it went so badly. I went last year & the date was March 18 and I always feel better about March vs April for chance of rain. I went to Audi's 2 day VIR following this one & only got 1 good session when the rain finally let up (it was on & off so you were never comfortable).

Better luck next time! Wilderness Trail was a great group to run with!

Actually by 3:00, the track was almost dry and I was on the grid for the open session and then . . . . it started raining, and raining hard so I left. Got about 2 good laps in during the prior session. This was like my 12th track day and the first time getting rained on.

The group was good to run with. Just a crappy day full of rain and fog.
Should know better than to sign up for something in April.
It did start to dry up, I went in to put my hoosiers on and it started to pour.
As the saying goes, a bad day at the track is still better than the best day at work
