Default Red Line Heavy Duty Shock Proof Oil in a C5Z Diff

I am looking for some more lock up in my differential for C5 Z06 in SS autocross. Here is some verbiage from Red Lines web site.

The viscosity characteristics allow the lubricant to resist throwoff and provide a film thickness similar to a 75W250 grade, while providing the same low fluid friction as an SAE 75W90.

Many people used this in torsen & auburn diffs in Camaros to improve lock up for autocross.

Does anyone think there would be a reliability problem with running the Red Line Heavy Duty Shock Proof oil?

Instead of that, try Redline's "NS" gear oils...this is the version without any limited slip additive.

Then add the slip stuff in the little 4 oz bottle as you desire.

I just bought some of the lightweight diff oil for the car, and had considered taking it back from some of the comments that were going around on the SCCAforums about this when I asked.

I got that, and the 75-90 transmission fliud of redline's as well for the gearbox, but am hearing to stick with the Dexron III ATF fluid in the car.

I'm starting to get confused on just what is best...

Redline in my gearbox & dif. Love it & I drive the wheels off.

Also in P/S system.

The oem stuff is fine for normal service & light comp.

Your choice.
