I'm 6'2 250lb with 40" waist. I've seen lots of guys post up about these seats, all with sub 36" waist.

Any big guys out there that can chime in?

Having the FX1 seats installed on the stock Corbeau rails I would have to say that it will be damn snug with a wider seat. I have the Pfadt seat mount kit that I am installing tonight to get my harness attachment points and hopefully move the seat down. I am 6'0 and 180lbs with a 34" waist. At 6'2" I would think that you are going to need the hardbar or pfadt seat mount for sure to get it down on the carpet. Otherwise you are going to be looking at the visor

I think I have the FX1 pro's actually, I need to check when I get home as I bought them used.

Just got off the phone with Nate @ Corbeau.

He tells me none of the wide versions will fit in the Z06.

He says the A4 and the FX1Pro are setup for max 36 inch waist, but that the FX1 (nonpro) version is a bit wider and will handle up to a 38 inch waist.

Any experience out there with the Fx1 vs Fx1Pro???

I originally had the FX1s in my car and have now switched out the driver's side to the FX1 Pro because the FX1 was too wide. I'm a 38" waist and the Pro is a good snug fit. I would think you would fit the standard FX1 just fine.

When you install the FX1 in a C5, you need to insert two 1/4" spacers (washers) between the frame rails and the seat in the two outboard locations. This keeps the seat's upper ears from touching the upper part of the inside door trim.



Sub belts have now been moved to the center seat slot.

not a Z06...its a convertible... I have the FX1Pros. Im 6'1, 200 34-35 inch waist and I think much more would be pretty snug.. I think it fit me great though. I have custom seat rails but similar to Hardbar or Pfadts.
