Default Cheapest place to buy Hoosiers?

Tire rack is expensive. I bought a few sets from Hoosier east, but they are now quoting me the same rates on tire rack. Who can I call to get the best pricing?

Phil has a special too. Join his tire and wheel club for $100 / year and get 5% off tire and wheel purchases

hoosier tire prices from Phil's http://philstireservice.com/pages/ti..._hoosier_4.htm

Appalachian Race tire
http://www.racetire.com/

or Sasco Sports at VIR.

or scrubs from Phoenix Performance

Thanks for the response, unfortunately they are the same prices as tire rack. If you become a member, do you get the discount on the 1st set of tires? If so, it works out to be a wash, but it will come in handy for the next set.

Win NASA races or NASA TT and get free pair of tires if there are 5 or more entered. Or one tire if the are 3 or 4 entered.

Race tire prices tend to be quite uniform.

I would look at any tires, but most scrubs from places like Phoenix are 17" or 18". I run 345/30/19's on my C6Z and you simply do not find those as scrubs anywhere. As far as winning races...I think the cost of 1 race and the mods needed to prepare my car would give me 4-5 seasons worth of new tires...LOL.

I've been trying to find some Hoosier A6 scrubs as well. I've not had any luck as of yet. Never thought about contacting Phoenix.. hmmm

Might have to just go and buy a new set..

I know a TireRack dealer here locally.

If we get enough people together we could probably do a group purchase.

I have done a bunch of TT's sucessfully in the past and to win you basically need a new set of tires I don't do them much anymore.

All I really need is that money tree I planted in the backyard to start growing

Phil's Tire Service has a thread over on the NASA forum where he updates what scrubs he has available (he updates the 1st post with what he has). See it here:

http://www.nasaforums.com/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=17943

I can't say that I've seen any 19's though.

call CCW. When they sell rim tire packages they give a good price on the tires. Dont know if they sell just tires, but worth a call or email

You also save $10 or $15 per tire in shipping if you buy from Phil. He brings them to Great Lakes, Midwest, and Atlantic events.

You're in the Atlantic region, right?

Call "Hoosier Tom" at www.MidAtlanticMotorsport.com. He was able to provide pricing slightly better than TR. He can explain it to you. Tell him i said hello.

19" are going to be tough to come by. I have more than I need of 345/35-18s scrubs, but none in 19" sizes.

I burn up the 315-39 fronts faster than the rears, that is why I am "out of balance" on my scrubs inventory.

Give Eric Frisby at Frisby Tire (www.FrisbyRaceTire.com) a call for the Hoosiers and the other brands they offer.
