Default 18X10.5 rear Z06 Wheels on all four?

I was looking at getting (4) 18X10.5" Z06 rear wheels for some HPDE's. They will fit right? And is that the best set up using stock Z06 wheels?

They will fit just fine.

Tire size is across the board. Only at lock will you rub anything. Many people use the same size tire on all corners so they can rotate too.

I like the OEM wheels because the weight is reasonable and consistent.

Thanks for the response and thought on all four being the same size(tire). I'm going to have to figure that one out. I'm going stock Z06's for weight/strength/cost and ability to later add a big brake kit I believe. I was thinking of going with the Kuhmo's. I also have drm/lg brake ducts also.

they clear most BBK's also, which is an added bonus. Repro's that I've tried are heavier and have thicker spokes (to make up for quality I guess), and often hit BBK's.

We've used Stoptech's big ST60/14" kit behind the OEM SPEEDLINE 18x10.5, it barely fits, but barely is all you need.

I bet this will rub the inside of the fender/break duct
Is your car lowered?
I believe that V710 305-30/18 will not rub in the front

Will Hoosier A6 315-30/18 work in all corners for autoX? The manufacturer states minimum rim width as 11" but I have seen autocrossers use 10.5 OEM rims in the back with these tires. Any concerns?

No concerns at all as long as you're ok if they rub. They will definitely rub on the front inside if you have spindle ducts and cooling hoses, lowered or not. Hoosier A6/R6 315/30x18 will fit fine on all 4 of the 18x10.5.

I can't remember which generation Hoosier it was, but its has been a few years ago and right around the time C5 guys realized they could run 18x10.5 on all 4. Hoosier didn't offer a 315 at that time, only a 305. I talked to Hoosier to get their input about that size tire on a 10.5 and the rep said that they called it a 305 so the Porsche guys would use it, but really it was more of a 315 size anyway and that yes it would bulge a little more than it should, but that they would be fine. They ended up finally labeling the tire a 315 a generation or so later anyway.

I don't have any info. one way or another about the Kumhos.

You're welcome.

I forgot to mention, if you're autocrossing the car a lot you will be at full lock more than a road course guy so keep that in mind too. You may want to consider a 285 or so on the fronts if it looks like you're getting too much wear on the inner fenders, etc. with the 315s, of course you could always make some steering limiters.

Does anyone sell these in varying sizes? My fab skillz are sorely lacking (and I'm not even sure how these work, as I've never disassembled a steering rack). I asked DRM, and they said they didn't use any.

they clear the ST40's just fine........still my personal choice in brake kits.

The prototype PFC kit I have requires 1/8" spacers....not perfect, but the stock studs and hubcentric rings still work

I plan on running road courses so I'll probably go 315's, although if I went 285's I could do both...... As for a big brake kit, Stoptech is a vendor of mine and I'd be wrong to go with anyone else!

If you are at FULL LOCK on an autox course you are turning so late that you may as well switch to drag race or you have totally lost control and are about to loop it.

Pits & grid, yes.

What is an acceptable clearance? I looked real tight with my LG GSTOP Willwoods when I mocked it up.

Get some spacers for the front if you're rubbing the inside.
FYI, Chevy S10 spacers are alot cheaper then Corvette spacers.
