Need some thoughts and opinions...
Per the new T-1 rules I stripped the interior of the #86. As good as it looks I absolutely hate the driver side floorboard bare. I see in a matter of days that it will look like total, scratched up crap from grinding away with dirty shoes. I thought about leaving a piece of carpet in place with no padding but there is really no way to secure it down that I have found. Any thoughts on something lightwieght that I could use/install as sort of a permanent "floor mat" that won't end up looking like junk and may be easy to wipe up or vacuum?

I purchased three adhesive backed, non-slip stair tread toppers from Home Depot. (They are located in the paint section.) They have a very rough, surface on top and just "peel n' stick" to the floor. I find they provide a great non-slip surface, are cheap, and are easy to replace when they get worn out.

Thought about the grip tape, just need to find some now. It's not just about looks either, I hate that slippery floor feeling as Ken states, forgive me for failing to map that out......
