Default Help with Tire Pressure on V710

I do mostly autocrossing and am looking for some good tire pressures to run with these tires. What works in Cool wheather and what works best in Warm to hot wheather. They are Kuhmo V710.

Thanks,

Ben

Damn, I run high-30s hot at autoxes with -2 degrees camber and this is my wear pattern on the front:

But this is with stock shocks and bushings. Your results may vary

I use the 29 27 pressure as well. At the start of the day I set those as my cold pressures and if I want to tune the car during the day I adjust up or down a pound or two from what ever the warm pressure is at that time. I do not bleed down to the original settings as the tire itself has changed due to the increased temp. There is no such thing as a hot pressure at an autocross if you are using the 710s. They just don't get hot enough to get a hot pressure. The highest temps I ever recorded on a Go Kart track were 135 F where the speeds were approaching 70 mph followed by hard braking into a hair pin. The operating temp of the 710 is over 180 F.

For autocross, I have had REAL good success with running low pressures. I had a set of V710s last 120 runs (including 3 ProSolos) running low pressures. People may say I'm crazy, but I have proof!

Fronts 24-21, rears 21-18 psi (warm) ...with 335x17 all around
