I am organizing a track event on June 4th, which is a Thursday from 8:00AM to 5:00PM at ButtonWillow Raceway. I have rented out the track exclusively and we have the track to ourselves for the whole day. For anyone that has never been to the track or anyone wanting to come out and have fun with your car this will be a great event.
We will have a variety of cars (corvettes, porsches, lamborghinis, nissans, bmws, etc.) ButtonWillow is a very safe track and is located about 120 miles north of Los Angeles near Bakersfield. This is a great chance to come out and tune your car or simply have fun out on the track and race as much as you would like. Passengers will be allowed and you can bring as many spectators as you wish. Food and drinks are included, we will have a nice BBQ at lunch time.
Spectator fee is $10. The racing fee will be between $250-$300 per driver depending on how many people sign up for the event. We are expecting about 30 cars so it will be fun for everyone and everyone will have unlimited track time. This is going to be a fun and laid back event, not like other track events where you only would get about an hour of track time with 80 plus cars. So come out and join us, I want to get more corvettes to give us a good represention out there amongst the imports!

Sounds good Bill. Just shoot me a pm within the next week because by mid May I have to turn in a list of drivers and cars to the track. Looking forward to seeing you there!
and i may be able to swing the long drive

Id love to but we are limiting the number of cars in order to keep it fun and safe for everyone. For about 30 cars it comes to be $275 a driver. Buy some parts off the forum in this area and you can have two excuses to drive here!
