Default C6 Z06 front wheel questions

Helping a buddy get his car set-up for the track. Any problem fitting a 295 Hoosier on the front? 315? 275s on now and there looks like there is a lot of room left. Any rubbing issues with these cars? Just hate to recommend something to him and have it not work out after he's paid for the tires. On the back go with 325s? 345s fit on the wheel? Fit in the fender? Car will probably stay stock ride height if that makes a difference.

Jason, my buddy and I run 295 front and 345 rear with no trouble. I have haerd of 345s rubbing LIGHTLY on the inner fender on some cars, buit never seen it in person.

We have run 315s up front, but they will rub on the brake ducts when the wheel is at full lock. If you are careful not to apply full lock, then there are no issues.

295/345 gives you good balance front to rear and also good turn-in. 345s fit on the wheel just fine.

I have run the 285/345 set up for the past couple years without any rubbing or hassles on a lowered coil-over car. The Hoosier 285 is actually wider than the 295 and lower in profile to make turn in very crisp. No problems with rubbing, fitament, or ECU.

Thanks Frank. That's exactly what I was looking for. Just wanted some real world verification before I went overboard. Sounds like overboard should be just about right.
