Battery replacement AMB 260?
Has anyone managed to do this?
How hard to convert to hard wired?
My battery is getting a tad weak. Trying to avoid a $400 expense if I can.

AMB replaced the battery in my 260X about 4 years ago...it was ~$120...but my memory is kinda hazy. $400 is what a new transponder costs, right ?
