Default Aug 1 & 2 at Roebling?

Anyone else going? It will be the test and tune debut of Mike's replacement TTS C5Z to replace the one donated to the the Road Atlanta track gods (it seems every event there demands a sacrifice, or two). It is shaping up to be a decent car.

Since my trailer ate an axle yesterday - at least it was not the one I had replaced a few years back - not sure what we will be bringing down. Looking to get a new axle from Pace or borrow one for Roebing and Road Atlanta the following weekend.

If it is a normal SeatTime event there will be 3-4 hours a day on a pretty empty track.

I gotta work Sat :-(

See you at Road Atl!!!

In other news the Corvette may be getting a new heart in a month or two. Funding is shaping up well. I'm not promising but it might be ready for Road Atl in Dec. Then I can retire the Mustang from track duty.

sawzall, pry bars, grinder, baseball bats...the speciality tool drawer will be well used. (And that's just for your car)

is mike bringing his new Z to RA in Aug?

we've been having such great weather here. which means it'll be 109 and 99% humidity come aug

If it survives contact with Roebling it will be there at RA in August. The pfadt bars require magic words to asemble by the way...

After two Lemons I am filing it in the fond memory drawer....

Unless someone is looking for a seasoned professional for a no fee seat - nope...even then it would be maybe...

But I do still have a valid lemons license....

I'm in (maybe). Trying to get a friend to venture outside of ATL and try some different tracks in his 911.

Hmm... I've always wanted to see the tranny pulled from a C5. I have a feeling mine will be soon to follow. This unassuming little sticker makes me worry a bit though. :o

I am not trying to hijack your thread ole buddy but you and team need to come on up to Putnam with 10/10ths 8/29-30th. Open passing, no point bys,.....just wide open fun (in the experienced group). Also, there is some group providing professional instruction in prepared race 'stangs.

It is not bad pulling it - and if all your doing is the trans I would leave the TT in.

Not real likely - but I do like the crowd at 10/10ths

I will bring your used bearing back! Thanks again.

With two weekends at the track already in August it is unlikely I will do RA again...must be getting old or something...

I was thinking more about the clutch. Figure it will be gone by the end of the year.

BTW Jason - I heard about a local guy that has a 6 speed tranny from a 25k mile C6 for $850 if you still need one (I'm pretty sure it's the same as the C5Z).
