Default c5 radiator support

Just pulled the nose off my car and realized I smacked something on the road a few years ago and bet the support pretty badly.

Anyone have one laying around that they'd part with?

gmpartsdirect: About $240...it's called a skid bar. Be sure to order the rivnuts...you'll need 7 of the 6mm and 1 of the 8mm ones. Pain in the butt putting them in without the tool. You can use an 8mm and 6 mm x 1.25 threaded bolt and a nut/washer and hold the head of the bolt while you collapse the rivnut by tightening the nut.

Oh...and you'll have to paint the skid bar too.

However, if you can find a used one that isn't bent that would certainly be an easier solution.

Good luck.

I thought the rivnuts were mounted in the frame....shouldn't need replacing unless they are stripped.

There are an additional 4 8mm x 1.25 rivnuts in the frame too. The ones on the skid bar are used to attach the air pump, the horn, the middle air dam and air dam supports.

Just buy used, I picked one up for $150 and didn't have to install any of the nuts, once the bumper cover is off it's a really easy install.
