They went with the Aluminum frame this time too. I wonder why. This car is around 200lbs heavier too.

Yeah me too. I could have sworn I saw a quote from Pratt and Miller saying the oscillations on the chassis were better in the steel framed car.

My guess is they want to be able to put the ballast as low as possible and they can also move it front to back, and side to side depending on the track. Might be an advantage.

No matter though, being a Michelin shod race car look for them to be near the front right from the start. Like it or not.
