C6Z wheels/tires fast combo
Ok guys i've been searching old threads and reading, but still need some guidance for a good setup.
Which combo do i go with for track days???
This is for a C6Z with a stock suspension.
Wheels
Front: stock (9.5), 10, 11, or 12"
on 18"
Rear: stock (12), or 13"
18 or 19"
Tires
Front: 275, 295, 315, 335
Rear: 315, 335, 345
Should i go w/a square setup??
i'm thinking
front: 18/11 w/315 (does it rub??)
rear: 18/13 w/345
What about tire availability? would 18" be more available (new and scrubs) and "cheaper" or is the step to 19" (rear) no big deal?
I would think 18" would be better and help put power down better.
Again this is for a C6Z with a STOCK suspension. I don't plan on changing this car out to a more track setup. Made a deal with wife to get the car and it HAS to stay streetable (soft) so she can drive it.
Former track toy...
I used to run a square (17x11, w/315) on my C-5 with a T-1 suspension. That was a great combo with good balance. I basically copied this setup from the T-1 guys back in '02+.
Any help???

I run stock C6 Z06 Comp Grey rims with some Hoosier A6's and they are fantastic. Probably a little more expensive to go with the 345-19's rather than an 18" rim and tire, on the rear but I know the offsets are correct with the stock rim and I stick like glue!!!
