Default Bell Fog Free Visor-DISTORTION

Just thought I would pass this along. I purchased a clear, fog free visor from Bell helmets for my M4 Pro for those rainy days. The layer on the inside of the shield causes an optical distortion enough to make me . Anyone looking to buy one should have second thoughts. I'm returning mine. I'll live with my standard shields and leave them open a half inch or try dawn soap.

How do you spell it? "percription" I do not use prescription glasses. Spelling mistakes are OK, just make sure you don't make a math mistake at work P.S. I don't need glasses to see where your car is parked, in the garage

Those aliments are fine. Now that you've fixed your spelling, fix your car and get on the track with the rest of us. Rumor has it that a few people from long island will be at Monticello, September 18. They are in your run group P.S. They have been bragging about how great they are.

I bought a new Bell helmet not too long ago and I thought the clear shield that came with the helmet was optically 'distorted.' I ordered a tinted one hoping that would be better and IMO it isn't. I was running at PIR today and couldn't stand it...I just left the shield up. Does Bell make an optically clear shield?

The standard shield is fine, but it fogs. My fog free clear is distorted and my light smoke fog free isn't to bad. Bottom line, I'll try soap or fog free spray on the standard shield. I'm almost positive that the pro drivers that use Bell don't have these problems.

They make anti fog rain-x for the inside of helmet shields.

Here's some I found on Ebay
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/8-BOT...Q5fAccessories

I use that exact product on my motorcycle helmet faceshield and have no problems with fog buildup.
