Default Ls1 stockcar in car @ portland

Some pretty good in car Action from Randy Blaylock's LS1 powered
ex ASA Delco Series Stock Car. These are the 430 hp Lingenfelter motors.
They always seem to perform much bigger than that.

Good video. Looks like Randy could use one more gear on the backstretch. Also Portland is a technical track and he could cut some seconds off on several corners

Who was the guy in the Corvette? He seemed to be able to pull into the next zip code when not being held up by the slower cars.

In his post on our V8 StockCar board Randy said the Corvette is a Riley & Scott chassis powered by an 850 hp cup motor, he did not identify the driver.

The turbo RX7 is said to have 650 hp.

Check out the Vintage Nascar 1963 Mercury at about the 3:18 mark.

He appeared to be geared short for the longest straight. Probably did not have the correct gear with him, as it takes all of 5 minutes to change out.
