Default Substitute for header wrap?

I meant to get some for the exhaust next to the tranny but I forgot. Is there a substitute (Lowes/Home Depot) that will last 1 DE and not melt onto the exhaust? Need it tomorrow.

TIA

Water heater wrap or go to JR Speed in Riverside off the 91 at Adams.
Call Redlands Muffler-they used to have it in stock

The only time I've had trans temp probs were when I had 2 drivers and the car hardly rested between sessions. But any substitute you use, will be just as big of a PITA, so if you're going to go to the trouble, may as well get some header-wrap from Autozone/O'Reillys and only have to do it once.

Thanks guys, ran out of time to wrap the pipes, I'll just pedal it if overtemp warning goes on.
