NCM Motorsports Park plans released !!!
After almost a year, dozens of meetings, and what seems like thousands of hours of research and planning, the National Corvette Museum is ready to publicly announce the preliminary plans for the Motorsports Park in Bowling Green.
(2) Road Courses, 3.0 miles and 2.0 miles, 27 turns, 5.0 miles total.
The combined course will be the longest in the United States !!

There is still much work to be done in order for this facility to become a reality, but the project is “FULL STEAM AHEAD” !!
Check it out, and see how you can get involved.

I can tell you right now
10/10ths Motorsports will be there and I am looking forward to it.
My discussions with Tom on this have been great and very encouraging.
Seems like a ways off it but it will be ready for racing before we know it.

dont get to excited yet, they have to come up with 20 mil.
and as for blugrass, I think that thing is dead in the water unless it changes hands, no work completed this year.

The NCM has a pretty good track record for raising the money that they need for projects and expansion. I trust that they will be able to do the same for this.

The other 80% ($16.0 M) will come from other sources, including corporate sponsorships, foundations, grants, track day sponsors, etc. That is one of the beauties of operating the NCM as a non-profit charitable foundation.
Even the $4.0 M from the membership can be used for track time! Kind of like buying pre-paid minutes on a phone. Example: 10 guys could buy 1 acre for $15,000, spread the payments over 5 years, and then apply the "donation" for track days! Pretty cool, Huh? Check this out for details:

If we can raise the "seed money" quick enough, we can be driving in 2 years instead of 3.

Assuming this happens, it looks to be a premiere facility and the Corvette factory/museum to boot right there. What else could one ask for?
