C-5 Calipers is z06 the same as z51
I have tired to search this question but could not get an answer. I have a 00 FRC and was offered some ZO6 calipers, but they looked the same as my z51's. I did not have them side by side so couldn't tell.
Whats the answer and if they are different are they that much better. I use z51 calipers with Carbotec Panther 12/10.
Thanks,
JayB

However the C6 Z51 rear brake caliper has a smaller bore than the C5 and Base C6.
the 0731 & 0732 pad shape is correct for all of them.

Not exactly. The regular C6 caliper is beefier across the bridge than the C5 version. Several T1 racers have reported they last longer than the C5 calipers. They take the same pad. I now have them on the front of my race car.

Interesting...but will they clear the 17 inch zo6 wheels?

I just measured them and found that the C6 calipers ar 0.015" thicker in the web.
IMO - I wouldn't spend any money for the upgrade from C5 to C6 calipers, but if someone gave em to me I'd run em. Or if I had to replace some failed C5 units, I'd consider replacing them with C6 units.
