T1 Sways or Stay with Hotchkis?
I just picked up a 2004 Z06 which has the stock suspension but the owner include some T1 Sway bars. My current car has Hotchkis bars and Pfadt coilovers and I am pretty happy with the setup but I do run Toyo RA1's and I am always looking for ways to impove handling.
My car isn't a dedicated track car but I don't mind if it rides a little rough. I plan to keep the Pfadt coilovers. Car will be about 60% street and 40% track. Let me know what you guts think?

'04 Z shocks and T1 bars make for a really good combination (that's what I run). If you can deal with the noise from the links, I would definately put them on.

T1 bars will tie the suspension together side/side so the car is almost like a kart. Great on a smooth track, sometimes not so great for street driving. Try it out, it's pretty easy to swap bars in/out.

The T1 bars are noisy even with the stock links (bushing material, whatever)
for a dual street/track car just run the alum 02-04 links. I run the alum up front and the front 01 steel in the rears. I don't run the plastic.
you can always check your corner weights and see where you fall
btw sperkins, I ran Khoi's old adjustable T1 bar at VIR this past weekend, and ran it at the softest setting and I got her right where I want her now. can't wait to go back to RA

I too took some parts from Khoi's car, but I doubt that brake ducts and a oil catch can is gonna shave time for me.

I have his 2 cat H pipe, hardbar camber blocks, rear T1 bar, his traqmate, and his trailer.
Khoi, you might as well just give me the EVO and your bank account #'s to

What don't you like about the current handling? What are you expecting from the switch? The Pfadt coilovers like big bars but I'm not sure how much bigger the T1 bars will be compared to the Hotchkis.

Keep the T1's and by the LG quiet endlinks. They are adjustable. I bought the LG G1 sway bars which are basically the same thing as the T1's and kept my stock endlinks. I could hear the rear sway bar banging around as I drove down my alley at a low speed. There was very little noise otherwise. I recently installed the quiet endlinks and all of the noise made by the rear sway bar was gone.
