SVRA Season Finale - Grand Sport Corvette In Car Footage
Duntov Motors just got back from the SVRA season finale and we finally have some in car footage from our GM licensed Grand Sports at speed. We started from the pole and ran a 1:32.6 in the group 5&6 feature race. You can watch the first few laps at the link below.

Looks like drag strips and braking zones to me..........
Man that thing has got some power......you'd think that they would gear it for the track so that it doesn't top out 2/3 of the way down the straight...

Pretty cool, yeah I noticed the shift light blinking on the straight as well. What was the package on this car? Engine/tires, that is.

The shift light chip was 7500 and the rev limiter was 8200 which we never hit. It has an aluminum NA 460 making around 780 hp. Our Traqmate data shows a top speed of 165 before lifting going through turn 9. We have to run the Goodyear Vintage Blue Streak tires size 15x8.00.

My brother and I came up friday and watched. The car is AWESOME. We stood in the pits and salivated all over it. It was so well prepared and fun to watchon the track. My brother asked if it was real, when I told him that there are 6(I think) real ones and what they would cost each, he almost passed out.
Great job driving it.....we stood on the outside of the straight and watched the cars come over the hill in 9 and into the braking zone at 10A....the car sounds amazing.

Nice video. Awesome power. Too bad you cant run some real rubber. Sounds like you leveled off to avoid the limiter. SVRA and HSR bid boy class is some of my favorites.
