Default Site issues

Team need some help figuring out what is going on. All of a sudden my home desktop computer cant find Corvette Forum. Had some problems with all 3 of my computers seeing it off and on for a week but today and tonight my work computer (the one I don't want to use) can see the site (thus this topic) but my desk computer cannot. Desk computer is Windows XP running on an HP Presario, with Norton 360 anti-virus.

Any ideas, I didn't change any settings and the desktop has been my main portal to this site since I joined a year ago.

Update your virus program, rescan. update or get a registry edit program too.

Start using Firefox vs MSExplore or any other operating systems.

First you need to verify that the other computers can indeed reach www.corvetteforum.com
perform a ping by |Start|Run|cmd [enter]
type the following "ping www.corvetteforum.com" without the quotes
that should show four entries similar to this:
Reply from 67.201.16.28: bytes=32 time=52ms TTL=245
if it does not resolve the name to a TCPip address then you are having DNS issues.
try clearing your cache.
Can you reach other sites on the home computer?
PM if you need further help.

Good Luck

John

well since none of the people who can help you scan the A&R section I suspect they wouldn't know of your problem. If you haven't resolved it yet try the Help Section
