Default [VIDEO] Gingerman HPDE with Spectator Racing

I had a great time at Gingerman with Spectator Racing this past Saturday. We got a lot of track time and the group was very organized and great to run with as always.

Here are a couple sessions of video in my '90 on street tires. Those who know the track better feel free to give me pointers, it was only my second time on the track.

There was also a photographer there and I am going to order his CD when he is finished with it. He took over 2000 photos!! If anyone else has photos feel free to post them up.

Thanks for coming, we all had a great time. The photographer was surprised at how many photos he had taken by the end of the day so he's still going through them.

We should have them available this week, some as soon as tonight. I'll keep you posted and send out an email to the participants.

Watching the video I could leave it in 4th for some corners but I need third for more than just T1.

Looked like you had fun!

I've got about a thousand miles on that track between the Corvette and some motorcycle track days. Good times. Evening test and tune sessions were reasonably priced, and the staff was always very friendly. Haven't been there in a couple years due to moving south, but I'm trying to make a trip up there with friends sometime this summer.

Just got to thinking: Have they fixed the dip at the apex just prior to the main straightaway?

This was only my second time on the track but the turn going on to the main straight had some sort of, for lack of a better word, "roughness" that would cause a rear end wiggle coming out. I would say it was a dip though so maybe they fixed it.
