Default Reuse ARP studs on new bearings?

I'm replacing front hubs on my C4 track car. Just installed ARP longer studs 2 months ago on the old hubs.

My mechanic seems to think that when the studs are tapped/installed on the hubs, there's a unique fit that occurs, and the studs may not work if tapped out and reinstalled in another hub.

Maybe with softer bolts this is possible; but with the hardened ARP studs is this an issue? Especially with almost new studs?

I've pressed out OEM studs and reused them on new hubs without issue. I don't think you'll have a problem reusing ARP's.

You can reuse them many times, but proper install and remove is a press fit, not a hammer.

I use a press to get mine in and out.

as long as the stud looks fine, no cracks, no cross threads they are built to last forever (almost)

Thanks all for the tips...I'll make sure he's using a press and not a BFH.
