Default LG rims for racing?

Anyone used or heard of these being used? They look nice enough and its a pretty cheap rim to buy and replace.

I use the LG World Challenge Wheels on the track on my Z06. Just have to be careful where the front wheel weights are installed. If they are too far outboard there isn't enough clearance between the barrel and the caliper and they will get cleaned off by the caliper. You can check where to install them by mounting the wheel and seeing where there is sufficient clearance and then mark the barrel.

Under hard braking the wheel gets pretty hot and the clear coat that covers the natural aluminum finish on the outside of the wheel peeled off after a couple of track days. Not something that is really critical on a track wheel. On the street it would hold up just fine.

I'd probably trust LG wheels over stock GM wheels.
