Default short video from a 'Fast Friday' at MAM

First time out in the Vette and first session of the day... the camera stopped recording mid-way through my other sessions for some reason, and they were a second or 2 faster after bleeding the brakes

I may need better brake fluid because I was having trouble braking... I wouldn't have thought I'd need to brake at or before the '5' on the front straight to make the turn in. Running Carbotech mixed front/rear pads w/ C5 blanks.

both laps are ~1:51 :/

nice work keeping your hands relaxed - i've been working on that for over a year and I still occasionally catch myself doing a death grip thing on the wheel.

They most likely were at the play house.

but have quite a few mods on my car.

some of my other friend usually run around a 1:47 or so

give it a few times and you will see your times drop after getting out there

Yea, I ran 153's in my '89 325is with bolt on's, H&R springs and azenis 615s, so I was disappointed when I broke down the vid I had and only saw 1:51's. I probably broke 1:50 in the 4th session, but still, I'd say 1:47 is where the car should be.

With the Michelins, you'll be cutting 1:36's or better.
I was wanting to go this week to shake out the car before TA, but it doesn't look like I'm going to make it.

Looks like a fun track!

I pass right by there several times a year when visiting relatives and family. It's on my list to haul the Corvette up some time and make it a dual purpose trip.

...I had rocks in every crevice imaginable on my car. A street sweeper couldn't hurt.
