Default Video, MSR TDE weekend 15 & 16 May-Red Group

This is Saturday. It has been two years since the last time I was on this track plus I'm driving a new car. Didn't take too long to get the wheels back under me. By lunch time, it all came back and Sunday was even better

This is Sunday, good time, last session we ran with the instructors

I'm driving a 10 year old GTA car, iron block and carbed.
I'm not a heavy P-car fan....all I can tell you is it said "Carrera" on the back as I went by.

I didn't set up my timer, just wanted to concentrate on keeping it on the pavement but I did check one lap on the video where I only passed one car and ran a 2.26 flat. I was leaving a lot of time on the table...next time out I should knock 5 to 8 seconds off easy.

If you know ECR, I'm running 1.55's after 4 track days with the new car....and still haven't hit bottom. Should bottom out around 1.50

That would be some very impressive lap times. Look foward to seeing you at future TDE events.

I hope you come back to MSR in July if they run either the 3.1 or 1.7 CW. My group was driving three corvettes in the red group. We need to hook up behind you and have some fun. I did not run the last sessions on Sunday. I think I timed you at 2:29 on one run in traffic. Sounded good. Yellow Vete 313

I'm going to pass on the summer DE dates. I have 6 weeks of out of town work coming up along with 3 weeks of vacation. Besides, it's just too Damm hot inside the car when it gets above the mid 80's. I wasn't going to do the last run just because of the heat but I wasn't about to pass up a chance to run with the instructors. I need to break down and get a cool shirt setup.

I will be looking forward to running with the Midland gang next fall. Play safe and keep the rubber side down
