Default FIA GT1 Championship on Bloomberg TV now!

What an odd thing for Bloomberg TV (353 on DirecTV) to air but it's great see somebody airing some actual motor racing this weekend.

I saw qualifying the other night, but didn't see the race being shown?

GT1World.com streams the races live over the internet (for those of us who don't get Bloomberg). You can also go back and watch any of the past races.

Interesting info from today's race - apparently the Nissan GTRs have american designed V8s in them. They sound bad ***, just like the Vettes and Ford GTs.

I caught it on Bloomberg, too.

I was getting ready to go to NJMP Thunderbolt for the VSCCA vintage races yesterday morning and went to check the weather before leaving. Instead I found the race (Bloombergs by the local weather channel on Comcast here). I thought that it was really out of left field for the FIA GT race (or any race) to be on Bloomberg. Hey, I'm not complaining though, I'm happy about any extra racing coverage that's on TV!

Yeah, and it was actually pretty good coverage. You saw the entire race flag to flag without commercials. Hopefully I have my DVR set to catch if they air any future races.

channel 353 your kidding me I just turn to it and don't see anything that would remotely indicate that a FIA racing series would be aired on Bloomberg. Great to hear of this I'm going to search for this program

And what about official internet tv? http://www.gt1world.com/gt1tv
I was face-to-face there in Brno and this broadcast is the same as on the circuit's screens - it had to be on the web as well

If any of you see any up coming races on Bloomberg will you post the event up for all to see, I used the search and there was nothing as far as I could go.

Good race pit stops play right into the hands of the Ford GT, thanks for posting the link, using the link can you go back and look at any of the previous races?

I'll definitely post up if I see it. I have a keyword set on FIA now - maybe we'll get lucky and see the GT3 races too. My Internet connection just doesn't lend itself to video streaming. For those that do though here's the GT3 race

Yes, at least for now - there is a navigation control in the right bottom corner, showing "Page 1 of 6" - you can go through Silverstone to Abu Dhabi....

I been watching this for two weekends now and way to go Bloomberg. I've just about given up on Speed. More Corvette racing on Bloomberg.

Didn't see anything scheduled on Bloomberg this weekend

I finally bought a program that can record these web feeds and then convert to WMV files - even if your connection is choppy it will fix that when it records. Now I can watch all the GT3 and GT1 races in full screen without interruption and the quality is just as good as I saw on Bloomberg. I only wish I'd found this before the ALMS 6 hours last weekend.

At this point I'm seriously considering kicking DirecTV to the curb and just getting my racing off the Internet.

The link states Eastern Daylight time (it is Bloomberg, so it should be NYC-based)

The bloomberg link does indicate that it should be on at 0500 tomorrow morning, but the DTV guide is not showing it. I plan on taping it and seeing if the GT1 highlights are being shown or not.

I'll keep everyone posted, but it may be smart just to setup to DVR to tape 353 @ 0500 tomorrow morning to be safe.
