first autox event
well I took my 08 base vette to autox the first time yesterday, and i must say im hooked!
car is 08 with z51 bars, lowered, and nitto invo tires.
The first few runs, I was everywhere, car was kicking out etc, trying to power through corners, then I looped it, lol. So after that I took it slow (but went a good bit faster time wise) after that I ran with a local guru, and he gave me some pointers. I must say I cant wait till the next event, and Im hooked in another event that seems way less harsh than drag racing.

Play with your air pressure. Makes a hugh difference. I end up running between 28 - 30 rear, 30-34 front. Kumho ECSTA SPT street tires. I actully lower the pressure between runs as the tire heats up the lower rear tire pressure results in a lot more grip.
