Default Looking for Advice on a Head and Neck Restraint

I currently use a HANS device I bought about 2 years ago. I have had two "incidents" alone in my car and I was VERY glad I had the HANS.
I'm also instructing when I'm at the track and now feel very "naked" when I get in the students car.
I'm looking for advice and direction for a device to use in my car (6-Point harness and race seat) and a students car with a 3-Point standard belt.
Any advice, experiences and a place to buy is welcome.

I looked into this a few months ago and learned that the R3 and the R3 Rage are the only ones that work with a stock seat belt.

That is what I have to use in the C5 with stock belts and the C4 with 6 point harness. It looks pretty uncomfortable, but once in the car you can't really feel it on your back. I think I bought mine from Summit.

I think with the OEM seat belt, your whole body will move in an impact vs a 5/6 point where your head essentially becomes a "bobble". If you are in a 3 point your whole body will move forward and hopefully an air bag will blow up in your face.

The R3 works great and is very comfortable once you get used to it. I've been using it for 4 years now and like it very much. I bought it because instruct also and wanted some protection in a 3 point harness. JD
PS-if you are coming to VIR? your welcome to try it and see how you like it.
