Default What do you folks use for mounting/attaching silicon/neophrene ductwork!!!????

I've found some semi-acceptable steel flange stuff from mcmaster carr, but nothing really 'what I want'. I would like some aluminum tube/pipe with flanges for attachment to flat surfaces. I can't seem to find anything like I want. I would prefer 4" O.D. on the aluminum to make 4" I.D. duct attachment a breeze. The operating temperature of my device will be in the 250*F range, and it will be exhausting hot air, under atmospheric pressure.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

tia.

So far the best looks like powder coated white steel 4" ductwork connectors.

Be cautious with those types of ducting, i have used them before and the material thickness and rivets holding it all together are not very strong. They tend to work themselves loose and then fall apart due to vibration and car flexing.

I have found exhaust tubing tack welded to a flat plate to be the best. Any good muffler shop will have all the necessary supplies to quickly fabricate something.

^^^thanks.

I went with some of these:

They are powder coated metal, and appear to be one piece and high quality. I believe they are German made as well.

I think they will do the trick.
