So after a couple years now John Heinricy has fallen silent on the racing community. For 2010 however, He has since raced in SCCA World Challenge Pro races in a C5 in the new GTS class. Now, he makes his return to the Touring 1 showdown at Road America for the June Sprints; and we all presume this means he will be back in the Runoffs in September:

Didn't Mr Heinricy collaborate with Hennessey on some projects
after retirement from GM ?

Is the return to racing a sideline or will he be in this full time.

I don't know about collaborate, but he did take a couple of Hennessy cars around the track I believe.

Looks like we'll find out, but he's been keeping busy this year racing. I guess he's signed up for another double national else where in July too
