Default Is anybody selling used slicks in sizes for stock C5Z wheels?

I know it's a long shot (since nobody really runs 17s anymore) but does anybody out there have a slick appropriate for a ~3100lbs 600rwhp C5 Z06 using stock wheels (17x9.5 & 18x10.5 front/rear)? HPDE (20-25min sessions) only not full-fledged racing. I'm just looking for an economical tire to rip up at a few track days this summer.

Thanks,
TJ

Are you looking for a real slick or something like a Hoosier A6? I am asking because I see posts referring to the A6 as a slick.

there is a very limited supply of used, nearly new, scrubs from Pro race teams in 17" sizes. Nobody runs them any more.

I imagine some of the National guys running Solo 2 in SS class would still be selling off tires a couple of times per year. I think most of them are running Hoosier A6s, 295/17 in front and 315/18 in rear on stock C5Z size wheels.

Try the SCCA Forums.

I was hoping to find true slicks. If not A6s or 710s will do (not really interested in R6s after doing more research, everybody says the A6s are better/faster and last just as long).

fatbillybob I'll email you about those front A6s.

Thanks,
TJ

Hard to find. I run 17" still because of weight, but not scrubs anymore. Too bad, it's a decent size if you run stock brakes.

Yeah, I have LG GStops so I can still run stock C5Z front wheels. If I run C5Z rear wheels on the front I have to run a little spacer, which pushes the wheel/tire out too far (it will contact the top of the fender under compression, and under full-lock it'll hit the fender at the back of the wheel opening).

I also have a TON of stock C5Z wheels so I really don't want to change.

I've got some v710's
pair of 275/17's $100 half tread
pair of 335/17's $150 great tread
older rubber but stored and has ran good for me.

Also a set of 17's as follows
Fronts, Z06 17X9.5 with V710 275's 60% tread
Rears, C4 ZR1 17X11 with V710 315's 60% tread
the Zr1 wheels work great on the C5 and will mount up the 335's just fine. Make offer if interested but shipping will probably kill on wheels/tires together.

Just to be clear my back rims are also stock C5Z wheels and are 18" (18x10.5") so I still need 18s out back, just 17s up front.

kwhiteside I'll PM you...

I got some front A6s from fatbillybob, so I'm still looking for 315/30-18 A6s for the rear C5Z 18x10.5 wheels.
