Yes, the brake cooling is the quantum kit.

Factory C5Z wheels.

Rotors are 355mm x 36mm.

AP calipers are p/n AP1600TR.

C6 or C6 Z06? I would *love* a chance at fitting C6 non-Z wheels over some real brakes. How thick are the pads used by these calipers? Also, how much are replacement rotor rings? Looks like the C6 kit is AP6000 and AP6050?

Sorry, meant to say C5Z wheels.

Brake pads are Mintex Xtremes:

More information on the 6 piston kit can be found in the following .pdf file.

How'd you cram a 14" rotor under there? I did the math last year and figured I was stuck with a 13.4" max. 'Course that was with a wilwood SL6R (wide5).

You have a link to the caliper specs?

Edit: i'm a moron and didn't see your above post.

Also, the kit uses the CP5555 caliper FWIW.

Great work as always! I like the tabs to pretect the lower ball joint and tie rod ends

We can help out with the tech advice and pad selection depending on usage and as a certified retailer and installer for AP Racing, I am sure Ron can get you guys the best pricing possible!

Chris NOT T1 LEGAL! T1 is 4 piston or sl6r as the only legal 6 piston. I already looked at this kit. AP has had it around for a while iirc.

Pads are 18mm.
I will email you the engineering drawing for the caliper. Assuming I can find your email address

on a C5 will they fit under a stock wheel like the Wilwoods? Or does the wheel have to be BBK friendly?

Specifically would they fit under a Fiske FM10 or CCW Classic without spacers?

This is my issue when picking a BBK since everyone runs these rims and so far only wilwoods are friendly under them without spaces.

with exception of the Wilwood sl6r, I have not found any T1 legal 4 piston racing caliper that will fit with the CCW classic 17 inch wheels. Beautiful brakes .

Classics don't work with most big brake kits! Had a long conversation with John about this. Most wheels with any significant lip won't do well with big brake kits. I just went through this process upgrading to the C6 Z06 brakes on my C5.

One of the most economical and practical options is running C5 Z06 Speedline 18x10.5 all the way around.

Another great option is the TSW Nurburgrings. Lightweight inexpenisve wheels with a ton of clearance. 18x9 fronts give you a minimum of 1.5" clearance with the C6 Z06 brakes
