Total Oil Capacity w/ Z06 Oil Cooler on 2007 Z51
Wondering what my total oil capacity is now with the Z06 external oil cooler?
Factory 2007 Z51 LS2 is 6.5qts with oil filter change.
Thinking at least 6.5 or 7 now?!
Not sure how much that in-radiator side tank held vs the external Z06 oil cooler.

It becomes more or less irrelevant, because once the oil cooler is filled it won't drain down (at least my EOC on my LS1 doesn't). The only way to drain the "old" oil out of the cooler would be to break the system open, which is a lot more hassle and risky than it's worth.
When I change my oil it takes about 6 quarts to the full mark, same as a LS1 without an EOC.
